Non-glossy chroming is an electrochemical process in which on the base material a thin coating of chromium without the gloss is formed. Even in this process, a layer of nickel prior chroming on a workpiece can be applied, but in this case just a semi-bright and a matte nickel. Due to different characteristics matte nickel coating in this type of treatment does not provide effective protection against mechanical impacts and it should be applied only for decorative purposes. The thickness of chromium layer is 0.3-0.5 mm, and thickness of nickel is to be negotiated.
Workpieces for the purpose of processing are placed on hanging racks or attached to the copper wire.
For the entire treatment process are used only quality materials and chemicals from reputable suppliers.
